Hello my name is Amanda, I am the dental hygienist. I recently moved to the valley from Reno, NV. I first received my BS in Health Ecology from the University of Nevada, Reno. I then graduated with honors from Truckee Meadows Community College where I received my Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. In hygiene school, I had the privilege of being awarded the “Golden Scaler” and “Outstanding Professionalism” awards. As a healthcare professional, I understand the importance of patient support and care while providing preventive, educational, and therapeutic services supporting the total health of each patient. I am an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.
I don’t let extreme temperatures keep me from enjoying the activities I love; exercising, hiking, dancing, yoga and traveling. Spending time with my family and friends is also an important part of my life. Prevention is the key to good overall health and I look forward to making a difference in the lives of my patient’s.
